Launching the New Guilloché Series

After discontinuing the Abyss series, I had to come up with something new, right?

I’m excited to introduce the new Guilloché Series, featuring eight dial variations: Red, White, Purple, Brown, Green, Pink, Black, and Light Blue. All models will be housed in the familiar 38mm case, fitted with a domed crystal, C3 lumed hands, and paired with matching suede leather straps.

Updated Caseback Engraving

I’ve also made a small but meaningful change to the caseback engraving. The text has been updated from “BRYANLAURENT.COM” to “ASSEMBLED IN SINGAPORE”. Some of you may already own watches with this new engraving, as I began introducing it with the Iris batch in June.

Skeleton Series Updates (V2)

There are also a few updates to the Skeleton Series.

Both the Silveleton and Metaleton (now officially V2) will receive a new handset design. In addition, both models will now use a black dial ring, replacing the silver dial ring previously found on the Silveleton. Unfortunately, the quality of the silver rings has not met my standards.

The Metaleton V2 will also move to a silver 40mm case, replacing the previous gunmetal finish. This change was made to better match the branded silver caseback.

Lastly, the upcoming Skeleton Series V2 will be the final batch using the current 40mm case design. Once again, quality concerns have been the main reason for this decision. I’ve already rejected an entire batch and returned it to the factory. Going forward, I’ll be searching for a new case that better suits the Skeleton Series and meets the standards I expect.

A Note on Watch Boxes and Sustainability

Some of you may have already received the new flat watch box.

One reason I chose a sterile, logo-free design is that it helps keep costs down. More importantly, I’ve noticed that most traditional watch boxes end up sitting in a cupboard and are rarely used again.

This new flat box is designed with reusability in mind. With its foam protection and waterproof construction, it can easily be repurposed as a storage case for travel, camping, or everyday use. It’s compact enough to carry around without being bulky, yet large enough to store other items when it’s no longer housing a watch.

Rather than creating packaging that serves a purpose for a few minutes, I’d rather provide something that remains useful long after you’ve received your watch.
